It’s finally lunch time. The Initia Testnet will begin on 5/14, and you will finally be able to use the Lunch App to participate to earn Initia XP as well as Eggs. This article is meant to serve as a guide for onboarding onto and utilizing Lunch to take part during the testnet.
Downloading Lunch App
Lunch App is a mobile app available on both iOS and Android. Since Lunch will not be on the App Store at the time of testnet launch, Lunch App will be downloadable via Testflight and Google Play.

Onboarding
You will need either a Google Account or an Apple ID to get started — you can instantly create a new wallet via social login. At the moment, importing from Initia wallet is not supported — however, after you’ve created your wallet through Lunch, you are able to export it to Initia wallet. If you’ve gotten invited by your friend to join Lunch, enter the invite code — both you and your friend will be rewarded with Eggs upon signup.
Dish
On the main screen of Lunch App, you will see all the missions and actions that are possible on Initia Testnet (which we call Dishes). Select the Dish you like, and complete a mission. Completing missions through Dishes are designed to be easy and fun, miles beyond any Web3 experiences you might have had in the past. After completing a Dish, you will be able to claim Eggs.
Egg League
Compete with each other on how many Eggs you’ve collected. You’ll be divided into tiers depending on your activities, and based on your standing in each tier, you may be eligible for special NFTs. The leaderboard is refreshed every week, with new NFTs during each league. Holders of these special NFTs may receive some special rewards in the future.
Build a Jennie!
Note that you’ll be able to participate in the ‘Build a Jennie’ experience for Initia Testnet from Lunch App as well. All the tasks for building a Jennie (such as creating an Initia Username, staking, and more), as well as earning XP to buy food to feed your Jennie will all be available directly on Lunch App.
Building and feeding your Jennie will be a core part of the Initia Testnet experience. Through Lunch App, you’ll be easily able to build your own Jennie, in addition to earning those sweet Eggs.
