I’m talking about freeCodeCamp, they don’t show you everything you need to know to build something, they show you stuff then ask you to get it all together and do the projects. That’s the closest that I have found to actually having a programming related job, specially when you’re a beginner. You can learn all the theory, but still you’ll struggle when trying to build something useful fcc makes you get used to this feeling.
You actually have to get started at building stuff, otherwise you’ll aways be a beginner who knows only the basics and can’t actually get things together.
My point with this article was to explain that freecodecamp is a great website to get you ready for real world jobs because it gets you started with building hard stuff which you may know how to do it but never tried. Meanwhile other courses are more like code along things that basically anyone can follow.
It’s kind of implicit that fcc isn’t probably the best place there is to start learning how to code, it is more like a final course where you get to do all the things you’d do in you real job.
