Thank you for your feedback. A Subject is indeed a special kind of Observable. The cool thing about subjects is, is that you can use it as a data publisher and as a data subscriber.

Good question! As a general rule i would keep all my styles for the same component or settings in the same file. This way all the styles for that specific component or settings are easily retrievable and understandable as everything in that file is in the same context.

I mean that this parameter is always equal to the value that comes out when the reduce is finished. On each iteration this value is updated, so it basically represents the current state of the end result.
