An Unforgettable Easter Egg Hunt
A one-time event.
The families gathered at the cottage in the woods, excitedly chattering for their first attendance of the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Rosina stepped through the door and into the morning rays, smiling broadly at all who had come. Looking at the children and clasping her hands to her bosom, “I have been busy hiding eggs all morning for you to find. You are going to have so much fun!”
The children jumped and clapped with anticipation beside their parents.
Before turning them loose with their baskets, Rosina added, “I also have yummy cakes and cookies to celebrate when you have found all of the eggs!”
Everyone cheered at the wonderous day before them, including Rosina. “Okay, my dears, go find the eggs!” Beaming, she waved them on with her hands held high.
Sometime later, the families approached the cabin and a waiting Rosina, their faces glowing.
Leaning toward the children, Rosina quizzed, “Did you have a good time?”
Everyone cheered.
Rosina’s smile grew, “Are you ready for some refreshments?”
