“Come on! Can’t you move any faster?” Her teenage brother waited impatiently, his gloved hand gripping the back door handle as he watched his twin sister put on her snow clothes. “The snow’s gonna melt by the time you’re ready, Oriana!”
“It will not, Damian. You just want to drool over Jasmin.” Oriana smiled as she tied her boots, her brother silently squirming at the mention of her best friend.
The siblings darted out the door in a frenzy to meet friends in the forest for a day of snow activities.
They ran haphazardly towards the dense forest as huge, fluffy flakes slowly danced and swirled around them before joining the growing blanket covering the earth.
The snow sparkled like diamonds in the morning rays as they threw snowballs at each other. Hearty laughter erupted with each explosion of white powder coating the siblings.
Jogging up up the path, they joined their friends who seemed to be frozen in time. They stood together…
