We are one of the EOS block producers blockpooleos, for the new resource model, some time ago we made some suggestions, these two weeks we consulted with many large token holders and asked them to give their views, now, I put together their views, the main points are as follows

They have some concerns that the pricing of resources in the new resource model is based on adjusted utilization, which seems to prevent a speculative market, but a new problem arises, if a large token holder leases most of the resources across the network to itself, it could cause congestion on the EOS network and other users would have to lease otherwise cheap resources at a higher price. Just look at the ETH congestion. What if a large user is using a thousand accounts to lease at the same time? So a single account should have a limit on the percentage of resources that can be leased, otherwise there’s still no way to prevent speculators from artificially interfering with resource pricing

At the same time, different token holders have different needs, whether there can be two leasing options, one is the new resource model proposed to lease according to the monthly lease, and the other is to lease according to each transaction, so that users can choose, the first way is suitable for frequent, fixed transaction users, the second is suitable for low frequency, irregular transaction users. Monthly leasing users should be able to sublet the resources they are not using, or the REX system to take them back, and the price of the resources should still be adjusted according to the implementation of the utilization rate, thus reducing the incentive for speculators to speculate.

Finally, it is also necessary to pay attention to hold very little coin users, many of these users, they do not understand the technology and do not want to understand, leasing resources for them to operate a higher threshold, so it should support a part of the excellent wallet business, so that the wallet business priority lease to a reasonable resource, wallet business to promote, to attract users.
