It’s ONLY women (& GLBT people) who are judged as “sexual sinners”. Heterosexual men GET A PASS and are — to quote Republican VP candidate Mike Pence — given “second chances and redemption”. These churches FAIL TO PROTECT AND SUPPORT women and children when the are subjected to sexual abuse, rape and domestic violence. Also besides being intensely misogynistic and racist, white Evangelical churches also LAUD & PROTECT the 1% as “God’s Chosen” — -and prpagate a snake-oil scam called “Prosperity Gospel” to further impoverish their already-poor flocks (the Black church is NOT immune from either the sexism or the “Prosperity gospel”scam). Finally, take a look at the website of the CHRISTIAN COALITION (headed by Ralph Reed).Can you guess what is #1 on their Agenda? Criminalizing abortion? Repealing same sex-marriage? Nope! CUTTING CORPORATE TAXES is their #1 agenda item.
