“I don’t have enough time”…. is not the truth!

Kat, a Business Owner, came to me a few months ago with this rant…”I just have a lot to get done, I have to pick up and drop kids, cook meals, take care of EVERYTHING of the house, do shopping, run all parts of my business being a solopreneur, and …. and… and …. and… yea, then… Phew…. and … yes, I can’t believe I need to …. the husband…. and … the kids… my little one’s birthday party…. and this event…. expo for business.. I just don’t have enough time to get all this done!!!!!!!!!”

Well, that was a full-on download! But I say kudos to her, because not many of us have the courage to even put our hands up for help, let alone voice it out…

Have you ever felt that way?

I have.. I have felt like my head was buzzing with electrical impulses all over, with neuro-wiring that is completely entangled. I can also visualize every neuron in my brain carrying an icon “i” in red, which denotes “urgent” “urgent” “urgent” “urgent” “urgent” “urgent”.

Research says that you have Corticotropine -releasing hormone, Adrenocorticotropine hormone and Cortisol when overwhelm is experienced

I can safely say that we all have enough time for everything!

Every week, you and I have 168 hours.

Weekly,

Awake Slot — 112 hours

Working Slot — 40 hours

Travel Slot — 10 hours

Remaining Slot — 62 hours

So, even if you work full time, and do a side hustle for something you love (like building a business), you still have 52 hours.

Then, if you want to do some community volunteering, you still have 46 hours left on your clock.

Let’s say you cook everyday, then you will still have 35.5 hours remaining.

If you love exercise, or anything you play, and lets say you work out at least 1 hour each day, you still have 28.5 hours.

If you could Include family time, you will have 18 hours.

Then, inclulde date night, you will have 13 hours.

Next, Gardening/ hobby , and you will end up in 10 hours!

Yes, 10 hours!

You can do all that, and still have 10 hours left, for you to think hard what to do next…. That is a high quality problem to have.. :)

So, I would suggest you being fair on your language to be “This is not important to me” rather than an untrue reflection of “I don’t have enough time”, because thats not the truth..

Happy time investing!
