We need to stop using “porn” to describe something good

It’s 2017. It’s time to recognize what is healthy and what is unhealthy. Porn, is unhealthy. Pornography deteriorates your mind, it changes your view of sex, and it ultimately affects your relationships with others.

I am sick of hearing “porn” being thrown in with other words to describe something good.

Food porn.

Earth porn.

Car porn.

Chocolate porn.

Pornography is not a great thing by any stretch of the imagination. It doesn’t make something better. It does not exemplify wonderful things. It perverts minds and hearts. Porn takes love and makes it commonplace, an event on a screen, something that can be bought and sold and thrown away.

Porn is not love. Love is not porn.

For the sake of society and ourselves, please stop using porn to describe something good.
