This needs to be an issue in its own right that has the volume turned way up. It is hard to take but part of the game for Republicans to squash bills with superior voting numbers. It was deplorable for them to squash a legitimate Supreme Court nominee by simply refusing due and proper hearings. It is intolerable for them to squash investigations into the possible criminality of their own high level members.
