Amazon seems to typify the ‘inside’ is the opposite of its ‘outside’ paradigm — that is, if you are a customer, you are treated very well. But if you get involved in a program, you are chattel.
My AA ‘membership’ was permanently unplugged because I failed to reply and agree to something that clearly got binned by a spam filter. I found out months later. I told them I had no problem agreeing to the update in terms, but they said it didn’t matter because that AA account would not be reactivated no matter what.
