Down This Road

The numbers tell me you know someone with autism. My son Owen, who is four has severe autism. Down This Road was written by Marcus Oglesby, the lead singer of the band Creek Don’t Rise, about the journey I am on with my son Owen.

This song has brought me so much comfort on days that I was struggling with so many things. Autism isn’t for the faint of heart. The hardest part is seeing my baby struggle. The words in this song reflect so many of my thoughts and truly express how I feel.

The wonderful part about this song is the intricate wording and meaning that it can take on for different listeners. It is a love song for some, inspiration for others and motivation for all. Please enjoy the song and check out other songs from the band Creek Don’t Rise. Here is the link to their Facebook page,
