Happy you’ve made your morning pages public instead of keeping them to yourself. I’ve gone back and forth through different phases of such ways of living and I’ve found, as you said in a sense, change is inevitable. What you were then vs who you are right now; they’re just different. One isn’t better or worse. Just different. And I don’t mean to imply that you’re lamenting, but there is beauty in chaos and messiness. There is mindfulness, and even art, in having a life full of work and family. I would suggest making a date with yourself once a week or once a month to just be, I encumbered. And definitely finding time daily to write or meditate or be silent should work. Even if it’s just shower time or waking up 10 minutes earlier than everyone else, or going to sleep 10 minutes later. Here’s to finding that room of your own in your mind. That room doesn’t have to be physical.
