This Is What Happens When Someone Is Dying

While this is written as fiction, it plays out as non-fiction for so many… you know great fiction when it makes you feel how I feel right now… like the author was in the room with my Grandmother who we just transferred to a nursing home last Thursday. She said a number of lines mentioned in this story. Beautifully written indeed, thank you for posting. None of us will know how being that old will feel until we get there, and as we remain shrouded in our healthy youth, we will continue to struggle with that understanding and how to support those who are closer to the end of what we all hang onto as “life”.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
