The thought of my life changing to a 5 day stay in weekly routine dreads me. 😖

Piepie has went to Scandinavia, mainly Norway then Sweden, so I’m so sien enjoying my final days of being a civilian. Fortunately I was able to rush in time to send her off after going for iLights.

So what I’ve been doing for the past week is trying to clear my driving test, but unfortunately unable to 😬 just not cut out for driving.

I wonder why some testers just dw to give clear instructions. I choose the lane that I enter? Then I entered a lane and he said : Could’ve went to the other lane.

Didnt want to stand more bullshit so test abandoned 😐

Again, I tried the 2nd time, with hopes of passing 😂 but this time I failed terribly.

Well, my 2nd time sucks as well. Got myself another yalam tester. Screw this man, really hate this kind of shit dogs, they never fail to get on my nerves.

So I thought changing lanes would be only when he said, cuz in the pre briefing he mentioned “just do as I say, when I ask you turn then you turn.” So i assumed I needed his call to change lane, but I misinterpreted that.

I was supposed to make my own judgement call on whether to change lane. So inside the circuit, I didnt change to the right lane to turn right, I kept on my original left lane. (it’s a two-lane way), then I got penalized for “Fail to form up correctly”. -> Immediate Failure

Ok it’s my fault for getting my facts wrong, then he kept on adding salt to my wounds. ok la not that I’m devastated but, just continued defending his own shit. “No, who told you one?” LOL you didn’t even brief me properly, so I’m supposed to know that this is how you test? My instructor should have told me that he said.

All my instructor told me was you will be tested on changing lanes. Shouldn’t you also brief me beforehand on this? Or is it so clear cut? You said just do what i tell you. So if you never say I dont do what. Ok la its my fault in a way that this should be common sense that when u ask me to turn right i should keep on the right lane. Im lost for words for that.

It’s such a waste though, I felt the urge to change lane while driving but I just didn’t cuz I believed that he would ask me to change, in the end he was waiting for me to change lane on my own accord.

So with an immediate failure, I proceeded with the test, with my parking etc. He marked me down with failing to check blind spots. Once again, I sense bullshit. He marked me down for not checking my rear windscreen, when I said I checked it through the rearview mirror, isn’t that what the mirror is for?

He said No, have to check the back. Then I was so persistent this time I asked him why. He said “So that I can see that you checked the back. And the view on this mirror is limited.”

I had the strong urge to tell him why not you try and take the back seat and dig your nose, and ask me if I can see you digging or not, isn’t that a better gage of confirming that I checked my back blind spot via the rear view mirror?

I think this is the flaw in the system, not really his problem. His problem is just repeating the same whole shit abt the importance of checking your back blind spot, when I said I checked, it’s just you didn’t see it. “If got someone behind your car then you reverse how?” Aiya typical bullshit.

Then I was just so sien, striked kerb twice, 20 demerit points, then went on the road.

So lazy and moodless to continue driving so I left my gear in 2 on a 70km/h road, with a slow travelling speed of 35km/h. Well what happened? I was charged with insufficient acceleration and failure to use appropriate gear, and 1 more : Speed too slow. Each contributing 2 demerit points.

Ok I have to admit I did that partially to piss the tester. My rpm was rather high, 5000 at gear 2 and I didn’t want to gear up. Hey but before calling me an asshole guys, I think this is just mild ok, initially I was planning to sound the horn and shift down to gear 1 with my rpm at 6000 for the instructor to feel the acceleration, since he said I insufficient acceleration by not increasing my speed. Cuz when he asked me to do so, I increased to only a maximum of 40 on the same 70km/h road.

Ironic right? I used to drive slightly above the speed limit during my driving practices. And that was why my instructor always asked me to slow down.

Then blablabla, every other offense that I violated, lazy to get into detail but added up to 72 demerit points.

Hahah so thats why I said I’m not cut out to drive 😂

Moving on to weekends,

I had farewell dinners with the NSFs, and wf tagged along.

My initial plan was to go Bukit Indah for dinner with wf and jz and jd but in the end I think there was a massive jam, so we were like “ok no, not gonna be stuck in the jam once again like the prev trip.”

Hk jio-ed zouk, so gl and I agreed, wf tagged along last minute. In the end we didn’t go, cuz hk and wf didn’t have their ICs with them, no entry 😐 Heng we realised that early, so we decided to go HV to get ourselves drunk.

Saw jy and her jiao clique there too.

We got ourselves half drunk, feeling really tipsy. Ubered back to Jp, they had supper while I accompanied them.

I wonder how do they even manage to eat, I’m so bloated aft all the alcohol. If someone had punched me in the stomach at that point of time, I would have been the 1st Jurong Merlion.

I remembered we had a few rounds. 1st round Heineken, cuz the bucket of 6 was on offer for $49. Had like 1.5 bottles of that, then 2nd round, ordered my fav Irish Cider, then for subsequent rounds, we shared the drinks such as Rum&Coke.
