When you buy bagels you don’t think to yourself, “Bagels are useful to me so I want more resources available for their production.”
I love the idea of everybody rating everybody’s input.

When you buy you are not signalling that you want more resources devoted to what you want!!!!!

You are signalling that you want producers to keep making the same volume they now make.

As a society, we want LESS resources consumed in producing the goods we buy.

Competition between suppliers achieves this.

The only time producers make more is if more people signal they want more.

You paying more than you need to just misallocates resources!!!!!
