5 Small Acts of Kindness
Today, I am going to share my wonderful experience on “5 Acts of Kindness”, a task given by Amal Academy. Actually, everyday everyone does some acts of kindness but mostly people do not consider them as acts of kindness because they might thought these acts are very small, liking giving someone a glass of water or helping someone on crossing a road. But these small acts have a huge influence of your personality on others. You do not have to go for doing a very big or noticeable good deed, it may take time to do so. You can do many small good deeds daily which is more important than doing a big one only once.

Here are 5 small acts of kindness which do not only make me happy but also leave a good impact of my personality on others:
1. Removing a hurdle from road
I was going on my bike for some urgent work. Suddenly I saw a hard spring which is usually use in brake system of bikes. It had a sharp edge which is very dangerous for bike as it can puncture your bike. Fortunately, my bike safely passed. But I think what if someone get hit, so I stop my bike and remove that spring from the way.
2. Helping my cousin for applying NTS test
My cousin had recently applied for NTS test and he asked me for help. As it is my responsibility, I helped him in filling the forms and also ensured there would be no mistake.

3. Helping my cousin for NTS preparation
My cousin has to prepare for NTS test and I want to help him but I have never given a NTS test. But I remember that tip which I learnt from Amal Academy of asking in your circle who had given the test and ask him about structure and types of questions. I know one of my Amal Fellow, Adnan, who has unmatchable experience of NTS test. I asked him for help and he generously said, “I am available anytime.” I am thankful to Mr. Adnan for his precious time and help.
4. Giving a glass of water
I am very lazy and often ask others for giving me a glass of water. But now, I provide my brother and other family members with water.

5. Hand shake to a security guard
I went to SOS village for my project work this week. When I entered, I said, “Assalam o Aalaikum!” to security guard, then I went to office. When I was leaving, I shake hand to a security guard and said, “ALLAH Hafiz”. He became happy and a smile appeared on his face. He was drinking tea and he also offered me a cup tea but I gently refused and said “ Thank you”.
