Bank Interview Style Guide

I searched over internet about bankers’ interview dress code and find some useful and interesting stuff. Here is a view of that for you people who want to join banks;

· A two piece matched suit is the greatest and safest choice. However, don’t wear a suit jacket with pants that do not match.

· Very costly suits should be avoided, let it be decent and nominal.

· Black, Navy blue and dark grey colors are good choice to wear in bank interviews.

· You can easily wear a light colored full sleeve shirt paired with dark Pant if you can’t afford a suit. You can wear blazers if you have it but don’t purchase suit or blazers specially for interview purpose

· Tie also should be paired with your Pant shirt. It should be plain. Do not wear floral or ties with character prints. The belt also should be dark in color too

· Notice whether people from the bank are wearing a tie or not. In case they are not, you can avoid it too. In BoP and NBP mostly staff don’t wear even Pant shirt.

· Don’t wear any material with a glossy finish.

· Wear dark socks with mid-calf length so that no skin is visible even when you sit down.

· The candidate should wear black or brown colored formal shoes. Sport shoes to an interview are a big “NO”

· Never try a new look before going to the interview. Take hair cut at least 3–5 days ago.

· The male candidates should only wear the watch. If you have got pierced ear, remove the ring.

· Do not use too much perfume. Use light fragrance perfume.
