Fun and underrated nihilistic movies

The Bling Ring (2013)— if you ever feel nostalgic for early 2000s vapid celebrity culture, this is your thing.

Orgazmo(1997) — this is by the South Park guys and it’s really weird and homoerotic

Deconstructing Harry (1997) — This is a pretty dark Woody Allen movie about, guess what, a writer with a messed up life.

The Canyons (2013) — This Bret Easton Ellis movie starring Lindsay Lohan and James Deen is one step above porn in terms of acting quality. It has a good aesthetic though.

Natural Born Killers(1994) — This psychopathically violent Bonnie and Clyde story was based on a screenplay by Quentin Tarantino. It’s meant to satirize an amoral celebrity culture that no longer exists.

Cruel Intentions(1999) — Another movie about the jaded ennui of badly behaved rich kids. Great clothes as well.
