See what you can do with the Bing Chat update.

Bing Chat is Bing search combined with ChatGPT.

And it is now available to everyone in the regular Microsoft Edge browser. You don’t need the dev version anymore.

This is Part 1 of tips and tricks to get you started with all of the features.

Get Microsoft Edge Browser and Account

If you don’t already have Microsoft Edge browser, download and install it.

You’ll also need a Microsoft account, which is free.

Go to Bing

In the Edge browser, go to bing.com

In the top right, sign into your Microsoft account.

Bing Search

What you see here is a Bing search box, instead of search bar.

You can enter up to 1000 characters.

Or speak to it.

Or do a visual search.

Bing Chat

To access Bing Chat, in the top left, click Chat.

You may want to bookmark this URL so you can go here straight away.

Choose your conversation style depending on the type of answers that you want.

You can type in up to 2000 characters in the chat bar.

I’m going to ask it: Do you have access to the internet?

And the answer is yes!

Hover over the top right and click the more ellipsis to easily copy the answer to your query.

You can ask up to 20 questions in this free version per session.

In the next video, I’ll cover how to use the CoPilot sidebar.
