Don’t know what bpost Future Lab is about? The Future Lab is a brand-new innovation department within bpost. You can read some more about it here.

Your Role as Hard-core Ideator

You are responsible for facilitating and driving workshops, ideation sessions and the practical aspects of day-to-day innovation. You are the generalist that sees innovation as a continuous journey, where capturing new ideas is key.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and facilitate design thinking workshops both internally as externally with key accounts of bpost.
  • Conduct research on newest innovations and trends, which serves as input and inspiration when coming up with brand new ideas.
  • Make sure the design thinking methodology, rapid prototyping and experimentation is educated to all teams you come into contact with.

Our Offering (yes, we put this before your qualifications)

  • Be at the forefront of creating the future of commerce. Future Lab focuses on the most disruptive innovations.
  • Have full autonomy in what you want to create. Autonomy equals creativity, and creative solutions is what the team is driving every day.
  • Access to plenty of training and focus on self-development, within and across borders.
  • Visit the best conferences across the world, in order to get inspired and bring the learnings into Future Lab.
  • Work with the best ideation partners around. In order to get inspired and to learn daily, we have partnerships with top-notch ideation partners.
  • Work in a flexible startup environment, in a great office in the center of Antwerp (we pimped an old Citroën garage as an office). And yeah, we also work from home when possible. But no, we don’t look for the dude that only wants to work remotely.
  • Possibility to work freelance or on payroll.
  • And it goes without saying, great pay. Oh, and a Spotify account 🎵

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience leading and facilitating Design Thinking workshops with internal and external parties.
  • Experience in designing solutions that balance user needs, commercial interests, and technological constraints, and including design strategy, service design and design research.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Startup tools (assumption mapping,…).
  • Future thinker and generator of new ideas with clear business models.
  • Strong business analytical skills, that you can use on the spot.
  • You have successfully launched multiple products in the market.

What team will you be working in?

You are getting into a team of creative individuals that create solutions for big problems. The team consists of a strategist, ideator, a concept designer, hacker and project guardian. More information about our team and Future Lab can be found here.
