Your Role as Machine Learning Engineer

You are the one that pimps all our solutions with machine learning algorithms in order to anticipate customer needs. Everything you see has potential to be optimised. You make our cool products even cooler. And we ❤️ you for it.

Your Responsibilities

• Implement AI in everything you can get your hands on. In a speedy manner. You aspire to have everyone in awe, all the time.
• Driver of visual analytics. You get into the huge datasets of bpost and extract the necessary information to feed our ideation sessions.
• Acquire and share knowledge on newest technological trends, and how these can lead to new opportunities.
• Actively learn on a day-to-day basis. Self-development on both hard and soft skills are highly encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master (preferably PhD) in either Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Signal Processing or equivalent.
• You have implemented AI in multiple products and 5+ years experience in AI-related projects (or complex software development projects)
• You have experience working in an innovation team/startup that pivoted trillion times/did crazy side projects.
• You have plenty of experience with python, tenorflow, pytorch etc. Or you propose the ones that you prefer and believe that are most valuable inside the team.
• You have experience with prototyping multiple products and have a great love for creating prototypes in a scrappy manner.
• EXTRA: You love experimenting with IoT and have plenty ideas to make everything connected. You wish to make more than ‘just an app’ (no offence to the apps!). Experience with VR/AR is a huge plus.

What type of team are you getting into?
