I suppose what I’m saying that if you see the benefits for yourself, you still have to make it work, and intrinsic motivation might not be enough for that despite you really wanting the thing. It would be a mistake to infer from the fact that you have to force yourself a bit that you are on the wrong track/haven’t figured it out. Because, even if you have figured it out, willpower won’t be enough.
