Hoi Loes,

I think this is very true. Which is one of the reason of our reactions, of what makes us, us, is out of our control.

The chemistry sets our ‘default setting’, and probably does more. Changing the chemistry directly is then probably the fastest way to change your perception and/or your behavior. Experimenting with this on a personal level to try to be the best possible version of yourself is something I’m a huge proponent of and do very actively. I don’t see the reason why we should see our ‘default settings’ as sacred. If I can change my chemistry for the better, I will.
