Beaver with a D

Craig and I got married last August on the beaches of Malibu, and now I have a full year of being a Deaver under my belt. More than just my name changed when I became a Deaver; my whole world changed. I left my corporate position to go back to teaching (love it!), I’ve moved into a new home (also love it - the design possibilities are endless), and I’m continuing to learn how to be a supportive, loving wife (cooking, cleaning, the whole 9-yards).

After this initial “Icebreaker” post, I intend to use this as a splash page for potential DIY projects in my new, empty home and to post creative classroom lesson plans. There may even be a few random posts about surprises I attempt for my hubby. Enjoy!
