A Christmas poem🍬🍭🍬

To me Christmas is comfort, reminds me of love and just makes me look forward to spend all day in my family's company.

Excitement of the morning of waking up early. Still dark out but colour from lights all around.

Colourful wrapping paper to the lights on the tree. Eating all day, sweet and savory.

Chocolates in my stocking, happiness in the air. Presents wrapped in such love and care.

Names of love scribbled on a sticker. No waiting around, candles on the fireplace flicker. Still a pile of presents to be unwrapped but we’re all eating the big pile of nut roast that lay on our lap.
