Ecuador Adventures

Summer 2014

I have never done something like this (referring to blogging) so please bear with me. I will work on the presentation and visual aethetics of the blog. That being said, I depart to Ecuador in less than four days and though my arousal level for this trip is up to par, my preparation is less than stellar. Clothes strewn throughout the house, chargers of various types yet to be located and laundry still to be completed- good thing I don’t have alot.

Words cannot express how excited I am for this trip. Anticipation of the amazing people I will meet and the adventures I will have make it difficult to stay asleep. I toss and turn at nights with a profound sense of wonder and awe at how lucky I truely am to be able to do something of this caliber. I will most certainly milk it for all it’s worth.

I don’t have a whole lot to write about right now because I haven’t been doing anything. DC is hot and miserably humid outside. I don’t have a job here so my daily ritual has consisted of waking up, running, eating, reading or watching tv and eating again- with a 30 minute “dozes” thrown in here and there. Sounds exciting right? Tis’ no matter, the lows are necessary to get the highs. Ecuador will only seem more amazing in lou of the District’s monotony.
