I feel enormous pride when raving about my country. Many have already visited us, others have to Peru on their “list” of next destinations.

Peru is a destination that is on the lips of the world and we, Peruvians, we are privileged to live in this wonderful land, we travel and discover the land of our birth.

I invite you to travel with me for these 5destinations “Made in Peru” I would recommend visiting at some point in their lives !!!

Cordillera Huayhuash

The Huayhuash has about twenty peaks, six peaks over 6,000 m. Its highest point is the Yerupajá, (6617 m), the second highest mountain in Peru.

In its 30 km long are seven mountains exceeding 6,000 meters, the area also hosts a lot of lagoons of unique beauty.

In 2002 the Peruvian state declared the Huayhuash as “reserved zone” and banned, among other economic activities, the development of mining.

Parque Nacional Cerros de Amotape

Amotape is the best preserved of equatorial dry forests throughout the Pacific region example. The best time to visit is summer where we find large trees with yellow and green flowers. Among the animals that inhabit Amotape found the sloth bear, the Andean condor, ocelot, boa constructor and Tumbes crocodile, the latter in danger of extinction record.

Bosque de Piedras de Huayallay

Huayllay is considered the largest forest and high stones world, its altitude varies between 4,200 and 4,600 meters.

Walked this stone forest are a number of stone figures of all shapes and sizes. Alpaca, turtle, bat, elephant, Condor and Cobra are some of these wonderful natural sculptures

Its stones have been eroded over millions of years. Definitely, the Stone Forest Huayllay a place that can not miss.

Ausangate and The Raimbow Mountain

Turn around Ausangate is one of the best experiences you can live in Peru. Departing and arriving Tinque village, you will see a series of wonderful landscapes that seem taken from a painting.

The Apu Ausangate, the fifth highest summit of Peru, is located in the Vilcanota mountain range, about a hundred kilometers from the city of Cusco. It was next to Salcantay, one of the most important sacred mountains of the Inca Empire.
Also we can find the famous Raimbow Muntain (Montaña de Siete Colores).

San Fernando Bay

San Fernando Bay is located 70 km southwest of Nazca, in the district of Marcona. Its coastline hosts a variety of fauna where the Andean condors, penguins, sea lions, otters, guanacos, foxes and tendrils.

Its rocky formations and towering cliffs give an impressive scenic beauty. In its sandbanks some typical Andean species that come to the coast in search of food is possible.
This is a different experience than Paracas National Reserve.
