Anaysha Robinson aka Amornay was born and raised in Long Island, NY.
As a R&B singer/songwriter and SAG-AFTRA Union actress, she makes a lovable combination of creativity and high frequency energy. Naturally brings the smooth, relaxing and sensual sound, with rare melodic writing that gives a beautiful balance. Amornay is radiating with consistency, drive, and dedication with every step of her journey.
After starting her career in acting at the age of 17, she took a leap into her music career in 2018, at only 21. Influenced by artists; Aaliyah, Janet Jackson, Sade, and even Drake. Amornay fits right into the same criteria as she creates trend-setting newness timeless vibes. Authentically growing herself a fanbase and continuously gives us gifts of quality content.
The development of Amornay’s unique style is the result of a life surrounded by different forms of music.
As a child she was raised in a family that music is the food for the soul.
Her mother and father introduced young Anaysha to various genres and legendary artists that have impacted our music industry today; Mariah Carey, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Beres Hammond, Buju Banton, Biggie Smalls, among many other legends.
As a teen her music path included; chorus and flute for years in grade school, playing trumpet in a private marching band, and invite-only program called “Nesma” for her schools singing competition.
Amornay has always found peace in music. When it was her time the universe presented her instrumentals and beats. It was the beginning of a new chapter of songwriting, production, and arrangement from her one of a kind mind.
Her first single “Whatever You Want” was released in 2021, quickly amassing 2,200 streams on Spotify and over 13,000 views on her music video. Followed by two other incredible singles ‘’WayBack’’ & “You Want Me”. That left her fans and listeners intrigued and blown away.
Amornay’s newest single “You Want Me” dives into the stinging truth on how the pain of past relationships can keep someone from committing to new love interests. She calls it an ode to a storyline all women can definitely relate to. This vulnerability allows her to speak to her fans; hearts directly from her own. Amornay is preparing to release her debut album, a project she is envisioning as visually impactful as it will be sonically hard-hitting. It’s clear that her goals have gone global and while her confidence is what drives her, her humility is what guides her and keeps her on track.
Amornay’s goals are as ambitious as she is. When asked how she envisions her future goals they include; touring around the world with her music, creating a trendy apparel line, working with her favorite artists/actors, and becoming a Grammy and Oscar nominee/award winner. As with everything that she does, she strives to give back to the community with motivation to write books and screenplays about her life’s journey of beating cancer as a child, unhealthy relationships as a teen, and the entertainment industry. Through her experience beating cancer, a top goal of hers is to be able to collaborate with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and many more ideas from this mastermind.
