DIY Macrame Bag Materials

Do you know macrame is an easy and low cost hobby to get started? You can make a lot of projects with just a cord(rope or yarn). The quality of cords is important. I use only cotton rope for my projects. My advice is you should choose natural cotton rope instead of polyester.

I was a little confused when I started to make macrame. After a while i noticed that if i learn to make basic macrame knots i can make every designs. So you can make this shoulder purse by learning these knot types:

Lark’s Head Knot
Square Knot
Diagonal double half hitch knot
Gathering knot

If you want to buy a made handmade bag like mine. Their price changes up to designer, making time and difficulty to make. However i want to tell you average price. It starts from $29 to $299. My bag’s price is $49 now. You can buy it from ETSY or amazon. And also you can make macrame projects and sell on ETSY or amazon handmade too.

When you prefer do it yourself estimated cost is $15. (Just i include 100m rope and 2 clips.)
