Where should I start? How do I start? I have had the knack for the drums since I was around 7 years old. I can’t remember exactly the day, but what I can remember is that when I picked up the drum sticks I was transported. Transported to a place of make believe. I would sit in my basement. My parents had bought me drums for my birthday after they realized that I liked them. So I would sit there and make believe I was someone famous. Now I flash forward a mere seven years and I am in a band. A band that gets on stage and plays. A band that goes on stage and performs in front of people, people that sometimes are paying to see us (well not really us) play. Ok, we generally are opening for other bands, but who cares, when I am on stage I am still in my basement, making believe I am someone famous. I’m not famous, I am just like you!
