Why am i writing this Blog?
This blog is about 21st Century technology and how they apply to primary school education.

The use of modern technology in classrooms is growing over a large scale all around the world as the younger generation are and will be faced with new emerging technologies within their whole life. Technologies constantly develop and teaching children how to correctly use technology is vital for them to survive in the new digital world. The way that we educate children will change over time and using new technologies is imperative to education.
I’m currently a student studying Bachelor of Primary Teaching at Australian Catholic University. I am 19 years old and have a passion for children. I am interested in education, music and digital technologies and believe that embracing new ways to teach children is vital in order to allow them to grow into successful adults.
I currently work at a retirement village and am very happy to talk to the residents who were teachers about how much the way children are taught has changed over the years. I stand for ensuring that every person is treated equally and that people are given the same rights in education. Education is a global right and all people across all countries should have the same access to the education standards.

Educating children about online security is vital as they may not all know about cybercrime and especially, new to computer, children are going to be unsure of how to use technology. All work contained within the blog is mine except where it is academically refrenced.
