first post!

I’m starting this blog to keep a record of my time at codefellows. I currently have strep throat so this is coicidently the first day I’ve missed class since I started the program on June 5, 2017.

We’re now just beginning the second course, Code 301. I am itching to get back because missing just one day feels like missing a week of content. I will make up any work I’ve missed. My team is incredible though. This morning Zach, my pair programming partner was so willing to work together via slack messages. I was expecting him to just join another team of two and I would just submit the draft I had been working on by myself. He was sharing tips, code snippets, and StackOverflow resoures. I could not thank him enough.

For this assignment we added a viewport meta tag (<meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width”, initial-scale=1">) in the html and talked about how to hide the hamburger button when the screen is no longer mobile with the following:

@media only screen and (min-width: 1025px) {
 .icon-menu {
 visibility: hidden;

Aaron has already invited me into his pair programming with Aaron Bruce tomorrow. I was thrilled. And will do my best to meet them on campus at 8am.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
