Facebook now allows you to create, share and discover using live video. The newly introduced, Facebook Live, will enable users to use their phones to share moments instantly with the people they care about. Life’s most important memories can now be shared with family and friends in real time.
Not only are parents sharing moments with their kids, but brands are also taking advantage of this new feature. Everyone from athletes to musicians are allowing their fans to come behind the scenes and interact with the people that matter. Users are also now able to go live in Facebook Groups and Events. This essentially enables a user to go live directly from an event and broadcast to everyone who RSVP’d to the event. Other important features include live reactions, replay, comments and filters. Facebook Live will ultimately increase engagement with followers and grow the audience in new ways.

· Tell people ahead of time of when you’re about to go live
· Connect onto Facebook Live when you have a strong WiFi connection
· Provide a strong description before going live
· Connect with followers on a personal level by using their names
· Going live for longer periods of time will increase engagement
· Go live often
