Flutter Development for iOS

1. Download Flutter and Unzip it

you can download it from here.

2. Add the flutter tool to you path

export PATH=”$PATH:/<dir-flutter>/flutter/bin”

export PATH=”$PATH:/Users/madhka/Dev/mobile/flutter/bin”

3. Run flutter doctor

Run the following command to see if there are any dependencies you need to install to complete the setup.

flutter doctor
flutter doctor
sudo xcode-select — switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer

6. Set up the iOS simulator

Using the following command:

open -a Simulator
open -a Simulator

7. Create a new Flutter app by running the following from the terminal

flutter create my_app
flutter my_app
cd my_app
flutter run
Usage

Deploy to iOS devices

To deploy your Flutter app to a physical iOS device you’ll need to set up physical device deployment in Xcode and an Apple Developer account.

open ios/Runner.xcworkspace

Extra Notes

That tried was debug mode. below are mode are follows:

  • Use debug mode during development, when you want to use hot reload.
  • Use profile mode when you want to analyze performance.
  • Use release mode when you are ready to release your app.
