For the month of July, the El Desafio Foundation drew our attention. This organization created by the collaboration of a Dutch, Jorn Wemmenhove, and an Argentinean, Mario Raimondi, has quickly attracted many motivated people to help the project.
According to them, “Creating a better future for all is not a matter of charity but vision. Everything is connected, and creating a more equal world benefits us all”.
They’ve decided to unite their strengths and voices to reduce poverty in Argentina by betting on two programs: youth development and citizen participation. By helping children to train, develop their skills, and unleash their talents, they have better chances to get out of poverty. On the other hand, by empowering society, by understanding the consequences of their daily actions and by giving them all the information to work towards a healthy democracy, they will be able to make informed decisions to create a better future.
Our donation will support both programs designed by the organization and more especially the training activities for the youth such as music, art and cooking classes that allows children to develop their personal and emotional skills.
