Self-righteousness, arrogance, a desire to be feel better morally than another individual. But just as you said earlier, we really are all just ants chasing the same thing. It can be dangerous when one sees himself as “other” when compared to different people. It gives them a superiority complex because they are so in love with their own “sound” judgement.
