Our 886 Sq Ft Life - Before & Current Part 2

Here is the view of our living/dining area from the front door. In the “old house” we had a giant living room, a big dining room, and the kitchen was behind the wall of the living room. In our “new house” we will have an open concept living/dining/kitchen. The kitchen will be against that back wall with a huge 11 foot island parallel to the wall.

This isn’t an exact side-by-side comparison, but it’s close. Another view of the living/dining/kitchen area, except from the front corner of the room near the fireplace.

Also not an exact POV comparison, but each photo was taken from the side wall of the house, near the front door (to the left) facing what used to be part of our living room and the master bedroom and our only bathroom. We cut the living room in half to make room for a slightly bigger bedroom and TWO bathrooms! Yay!

ALSO not an exact POV angle-wise, but this is the POV standing at our back door looking towards the front door (you can see one of the windows by our fireplace in both pictures). This used to be our kitchen, but now it is going to be open from our kitchen to our living room.
