Academic abilities

Some people think that schools should select students according to their academic abilities, while others believe that it is better to have students with different abilities studying together. Discuss both views and state your own opinion.

There are some people who think that students with same academic abilities should be selected by school for education. They believe that students with such abilities can go well with each other. There is also opinion considering students with different academic abilities for schools to grow their potential together.

Firstly, lets consider schools selecting students with same academic ability. It is possible that the group with good academic ability have similar passion and thoughts. They have ideas which won’t vary much among others. This helps them collective to achieve tasks easier. Students gain much deeper knowledge of things when they mingle with students who are alike.

On other hand, there are varieties of thoughts and ideas with the students who are with different abilities. These students have chances to think on all the possibilities when they share knowledge. It is often believed that good experience and thoughts can be gained only with people having different abilities.

There are both advantages and disadvantages on schools accepting students with same and different academic abilities. In my experience, I have seen research institutions accepting students with same academic abilities. This will have a great impact since they have in depth knowledge of the course they are pursuing. Secondary and primary schools accepting students with different abilities which help them to share good knowledge among each other and can co-ordinate well in the real world situations.

In conclusion, I would suggest, schools should accept students with different abilities. This will not only help them to share thoughts and knowledge but also helps them to approach problems in different way.
