Financial education

Financial education should be mandatory components of school program, Do what extend do you agree or disagree with statement?

Finance management is often referred to a fine art. Managing money in everyday life is inevitable. It is very important to have the knowledge of finance, though not at high level but at least to some extent. I agree that finance management should be part of school curriculum.

As schools provide basic financial education, they are hardly used by people in their daily life. A secondary grade education has fundamentals of finance calculation like principle and simple interest. These fundamentals are significant as one will experience the need to apply when dealing with banks and loans. Schools should provide education on finance more with real world examples and not just in theoretically form.

Managing finance is a vast field by itself and having a deeper understanding is hard. There are certain part of finance management which involve deeper understanding like asset, income tax and funds transactions. It is said that most people find harder to calculate their income taxes that needs to be paid. Having a basic knowledge in these areas will help one to get an idea about their personal money management. These education can be included in undergraduate courses which will be helpful when a person gets into an employment.

In conclusion, it is really important to have financial education as a part of school program. With the advancement in technology, these finance calculation are easily computed, but individual should have a basic idea of handling money and planning it wisely
