Offenders committing crime
Many offenders commit more crimes after serving the first punishment. Why is this happening, and what measures can be taken to tackle this problem?
It may be justified that many offenders commit crime even after serving their first punishment. While this is an alarming trend, the government has to take sole responsibility for the offenders committing crime again. This is also a hard problem to tackle.
Firstly, When offenders are send to prison for their crime, they tend to mingle with others who are also criminals. This may have a significant bad effect on them. Offenders share their crime stories with each other and may lead as motivational factor for some to commit crime again. There is a possibility of make things worse rather than realising their mistake.
Furthermore, offenders, even if they come out of the prison, they have a bad name in the society. It is really hard for them to get jobs which may result in committing crime again. Government should take few steps by sending them to rehabilitation. They should be given chance to learn new skills, and also contribute their work to the society.
In conclusion, Government actions on offenders has a phenomenal effect on the society. Treating them with certain rehabilitation and giving them confidence will make the society heaven.
