Past — a path to future
In the fast paced world, people often express that the importance should be given more to the future than the past. I completely disagree with that. I believe, there are a significant advantages in learning the past. Lets discuss about this in the following paragraphs.
The recordings of the past has crucial values. These data helps as the stepping stones for proceeding further. In a recent study by MRF agencies, a think-tank, states that the virus which causes chicken pox can be still used for fighting against contagious diseases. Hence, scientists are studying the virus behaviour, so that it can be effectively used in the future. It is to be noted that the past data is used for the study.
Furthermore, people in the certain parts of the world, still believes in their culture and tradition. Though, they are not recorded and trained as such, the descendants learn their core values through the older generations. For example, In India, a tribal ethnic community knowns as “Badugas” gives significant importance for learning their tradition. This community doesnot have a transcript for the language they speak, but the tradition and language are still carried over by younger ones.
There are multifarious advantages learning the historical data. Scholars use manuscripts to know about the cultural changes and behaviours in society. Zoologist, on the other hand, keep track of data about animals and habitants to train certain species. These data plays a vital role in innovations.
In conclusion, tracking and analysing the past aids in exploring the path to the future developments.
