This story was about actor Norman Lloyd who was 11 years old in October 1926 when he experienced his first World Series. Now Lloyd, who is weeks away from turning 103 years old, will get to cheer on the Dodgers during the second game of the World Series. At that game Lloyd will set the longest fan seniority streak in World Series history.

Wings Hope Andreas Athanasiou Provides ‘a Jolt’

This story was about the contract dispute between the Red Wings and Andreas Athanasiou that finally came to a close last week with a one-year contract totaling $1.38 million. Athanasiou has no hard feeling towards the organization and is glad to be practicing and competing on the ice with his team again.

Before UM Photographer Got Crushed, She Got the Shot

This story was about Samii Stoloff, a junior at the University of Michigan, who was documenting the Michigan vs. Penn State game through her camera. Early in the second quarter, Michigan running back Karan Higdon ran Stoloff over after running through the end zone for a touchdown. Stoloff was not seriously injured and was able to finish documenting the game after being treated by on-site medics.
