this is huge. its a huge reason why my last relationship fell apart...in the beginning we valued the "I" over the "we". in time, it became the norm and when we tried to change, it just didn't work for us. it taught me a huge lesson- you don't need to totally sacrifice your 'I' but you must strive towards "we" from the start
