How did we come up with the word blue? What did blue represent to whoever started using the word blue to define blue? Because now that you look at it there was never really any doubt that blue would be blue. Of course blue probably wasn’t the first word someone used the describe blue. But it’s quite possible that blue was the second word used by humans (with the first being sky and maybe it was the fifth word as perhaps no, mine, you were said before it). But stretched out before them, the sky would’ve been the largest thing they’ve known, yet two dimensional, unlike anything else, something that they would not have been able to ever touch.
