The spooky Halloween overlay is absent from this year’s schedule.

Intergalactic ghosts will not be materializing in Tomorrowland this year. Ghost Galaxy — an overlay of Space Mountain with creepy projections of a ghoul from outer space — isn’t showing up on Disneyland’s list of holiday attractions. In fact, it’s been entirely removed from the theme park resort’s website.

In a previous post, we listed the Halloween celebrations coming to Disneyland park this year, and we’re a little sad that Ghost Galaxy isn’t featured. After debuting in 2009 at Disneyland, Ghost Galaxy quickly became a fan favorite. However, a decade later, the spooky special effects needed a bit of a rework. Instead, it appears Disneyland has opted to remove the attraction entirely.

While there’s no official word on these updates, the Star Wars-infused Hyperspace Mountain overlay is currently running on the classic coaster and will continue through the Halloween season.
