I found this writing to be provocative. It touched me because I am a living example of how challenging the past 5 years have been for me since I lost my job during this economic decline. Yes, it is real, this having to fight and claw one’s way back to the way things were. It’s real and it’s scary as I become older without a safety net or a lifeboat. It’s been so dark, I have been wondering if the lights will ever come back on. Though this piece made me crazy with grief, I appreciate your perspective and that you cared enough to put it out there.
