MAG UPDATE JULY 2019

It has been a while since the last update. We have been busy managing network upkeep fees and bringing Litemint games section to life. Also work on magnet.market continues, but more about that in a bit. Currently we have managed to bring the network cost to a minimum through merging service servers and cutting off some of network nodes. This does not affect the network performance and besides lower upkeep costs, there should be no side effects.

LITEMINT GAMES

Litemint games section has been live since 19th of June and it has been a success to say the least! Currently with 2 games available, we attract few thousand players on daily basis who enter the Daily Draw to win crypto prizes.

Currently pie.ai game has a brand new shop feature available since yesterday and this is where Litemint shines — users can purchase in-game items straight from their wallet and use any asset that is listed on Stellar network. Through path payments search, the order is routed through a series of assets and executed on Stellar DEX in the background so users can enjoy decentralized cross-currency payments at he current best market price. All purchases can be verified on the blockchain.

In the near future Magnet Match game will be also available for players to win MAG prizes through Daily Draws. We will use part of the giveaway funds for this that we have from swap testing period.

As promised above, here is a little sneak and peak preview of magnet.market.

This is work in progress and the final product will be less “techy” to attract more conventional users. Also features might be added or taken away, because we are going through scoping process to bring the project features to bare minimum and cut the production times.
