Architect Arne Folkestad Bjelland joins the Spacemaker team!

We are happy to announce that a new super skilled architect is joining the team! With 12 years of experience working as an architect, Arne knows every building phase, from the very first sketch to the very last detailed drawing. He is now ready to help us revolutionize the construction industry.

Arne has worked for Dark Architects for the most of his career, but also at Grape Architects, as well as created and managed his own architect firm. He’s done everything from small scale single housing projects to large developments like Barcode.

Throughout his career, Arne has been a leader in the field of BIM-based development, and a pioneer in the adoption of digital tools within the building industries; VR, photogrammetry, laser surveying, drone flying, 3D printing and more.

His passion for pushing the limits of architecture projects through creative use of software makes him a perfect fit for the cutting-edge environment here at Spacemaker!

Arne is very excited about the way we simplify and automate tasks that are cumbersome and non-creative, and he sees huge potential in how this will help architects explore the best ways to develop a site and find better concepts.

Furthermore, he has a wife and two children, and have several sports interests like cross country skiing, snow kiting, cycling and running. And in addition, he would very much like to refresh his tango skills!
