For a child, the ability to think and create something unique comes naturally. Techno Kids apprehends this fact and therefore, believes in teaching the concepts of science and engineering as creatively as it is to teach arts and crafts. As an interactive learning show aimed for the kids ranging in between the age of four to fourteen years, it is centered on providing them with useful life hacks to make their life easier and more efficient.

Segmented in three parts, the major portion of every episode comprises of making best out of waste material. From the readily available squandered stuff, kids get to invent useful objects. Be it making a two-wheel drive car, a portable USB fan, or a vacuum cleaner; all these items are made effortlessly on the show in no time. The biggest USP is that kids can easily follow the steps instructed to make these items at their own convenience.

Just like it is to first hold a crayon and use it up & down for coloring, the goods can be assembled without breaking a sweat. For a better understanding of things, the host of the show aka DJ sketches the blue print on circuit board so as to keep it clear what exactly one is supposed to do with the waste items. One may wonder that sketching circuit diagrams is the job of a high school student but at Techno Kids, age is not a barrier.

It is the education structure that doesn’t grants kids to learn making circuit diagrams. Considering that arts and crafts are made mandatory in schooling since the first standard, making circuit diagrams is no big deal either. In fact it gives an added advantage for the children to apprehend the concept at an early stage itself so as to further excel in the subjects when they reach the specific age.

The second segment of the show involves life hacks i.e. the quick tricks and techniques of executing a particular task in the most efficient manner. From peeling a hardboiled egg to stylishly opening a packet of wafers; there is a lot that anyone can learn to be more productive in life. The final section is about general knowledge where kids are bestowed with valuable facts and figures which a person must be aware of. From the history of Taj Mahal to the pros and cons of demonetization; everything is told in a playful manner.

At the end, it is all about effective learning as when kids are being creative, they have so much fun that they cease to care about their limitations. Rather it gives them an overwhelming pleasure when they innovate something and brag about it with their parents and friends. Techno Kids air every Saturday and Sunday on Maha Cartoon TV, India’s leading Hindi Cartoon Channel.
